My webquest

I had a lot of fun putting my webquest together. Although I found it difficult at times because you can add so many things to it, I really enjoyed it. I wish that we had a little bit more time to work on it. I know that with more time I would totally get myself carried away on a topic. There is just so much information to go through to put on there for students. I like that if you want students to be able to search the internet they aren't wasting valuable time searching on their own. With webquests you tell them which specific sites to use. I also like the idea of putting your webquest in a power point presentation.

I feel that same way you do about web quests, it is a great time saver for students and that it is easy to get carried away in just making on web quest. I can only imagine how useful it would be to make some web quests every year and then having a whole array of them after a couple of years. Then if a student misses a day in class you could simply tell them to complete the associated web quest to make up that day up! It is basically a completed lesson plan with everything that a student needs to do the work on their own.

Michelle,
I LOVED your web quest!!! I thought it was great. It was so thought out! I was thinking I could make something like this to have students drive from here to mexico, and pick a city in mexico. I can tell them not to forget to include their passports and bilinguual dictionaries and make a list of key expressions they might want to know. You could even use this (at the middle school level) in conjunction with other departments, For example you could have the math teacher do the section with the gas and money and mileage, and the art/tech teacher do a photo section (where the students make a web quest of their own with pics of the area). What do you think?
Would you mind if I did something like this in the future in one of my classes? I'm not sure if i would have the time, but it would be great. let me know:)

I want to go on vacation with you! I hope you post to your blog the reactions and responses form your boy friend's family about this experience.
I also enjoyed reading Anne's comments and how they led her to ideas for her students. That is a wonderful process that comes from reading and responding to these blogs.

I really liked your WebQuest. I can't wait to visit there. All detail information is good for like us.

Your presentation was excellent today. I didn't know that there are different types of Smartboard.
I hope I can teach with Smartboard soon in Korea.
